The St. Roch Church (Kostel svateho Rocha) in Hradcany area is Gothic Renaissance building and comes from 1603.

It was built by the Rudolf II, Holy Roman Emperor, as thank heavens for disappearing of Black Death in Prague in 1599.
It was rebuilt in 1747 and also in 1882.

This days the Church of St. Roch is part of Strahov Monastery and you will find a private gallery here.
