Funicular to the Petrin Hill

Quarter: Petrin Theme: With snow

Sunday I wrote about Petrin Park as a place, which is easy reachable by funicular. But beware!

If you are in Prague between March 13 and March 26 (2006) you should know that funicular to the Petrin Hill is closed and you have to walk from Keplerovo Namesti tram station (No. 22) or climb from Ujezd – lower funicular station if you decide to see Prague from Petrin lookout tower.

This picture was taken from Nebozizek rest area – located in the middle of the Petrin Hill – and you can see also Prague Castle and St. Nicholas Church behind. There is also Church of Our Lady Victorious where you can find famous statue of Prague Infant Jesus.
