Prague Strahov monastery is one of the most important architectural monuments in Bohemia .

The most beautiful is the famous library. But take also a look at the unbelievable small books and the details in it.

Despite numerous transformations in style, it has retained its basic Romanesque lay-out. The former monastery was founded on the instigation of the Bishop of Olomouc J. Zdik, outstanding diplomat and politician, by King Vladislav I. of Bohemia in 1140.
